The Soup Shack - Eastbourne

If you're in Eastbourne, this is the bar/restaurant/cocktail bar you need to visit. They start with breakfast in the morning and serve drinks and food all day until closing time. We were very well taken care of by Fabien and his team. They were very attentive to detail, a wonderful and genuine group of people who clearly love what they do. The food is amazing! From the selection of fresh and authentic tapas, 3 for £12, to the cheese and charcuterie sharing boards, everything was delicious and served in generous portions. The drink options range from their house wine to house-made cocktails like sangrias and margaritas. We enjoyed the food and the atmosphere so much that we visited 3-4 times during our 6-day stay in Eastbourne. Thank you for the warm welcome and excellent culinary skills! We will definitely be back.

I had a great experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious and the staff was very accommodating. The menu has a wide variety of options suitable for everyone. I particularly enjoyed trying the beer pairing with my meal, which was a delightful surprise. It's a nice spot to sit back, relax, and enjoy a meal while watching the world go by. If you're in Eastbourne and able to snag a table, I highly recommend giving it a try.

We were a few days in the eastbourne and that was the first place we found and wow how beautiful this place was. very friendly man served us sangria and craft bier with some delicious tapas with great Latin music. very reasonable price with a great atmosphere.

Ends in eastbourne during storm eunice, feb 2022, looking for coffee away from gray clouds, wind and rain, found sunshine in this small jewel of a are red. great atmosphere, charming decor, excellent music, warm welcome with amazing personable wait, fantastic menu with great variety of comfort to eat so much for all future food.

Saw this place when passing and came back for an evening meal... O.M.G. quite possibly the most amazing food i have ever eaten. The swiss cheese potatoes were to die for and everything else we ordered was tasty and enjoyable.... service was fast, friendly and efficient.... will definitely come back again... well done guys
