The Taco Stand - Encinitas

I have eaten at taco places all around the world, and I do so with a critic's palette, if I do say so. Just for tacos. ; These are the best tacos I have ever had, and I keep going back every time I'm within 50 miles of Encinitas. I keep thinking I've found a better place somewhere else, but when I come back and have the Al Pastor, I remember that there is nothing else like it.

Every time I pass through Encinitas I would see the line and think, “Wow, those must be some taco’s”. I finally gave them a try and they are in fact AMAZING! I tried a shrimp taco, a pork taco, and a chicken taco....and a piece of corn. I spent $14. I thought I wouldn’t be able to eat it all, but it was so good I did eat it all. I was stuffed!! I loved this combination and variety. They make their own tortillas. All was fabulous. My to go order was packaged very conveniently and I was able to eat it in the car without making a mess. I will definitely eat here again and yes, the line is totally worth it.

The fish taco was thee best!! We also ordered steak, shrimp and pork tacos. They too were pretty awesome!!

The food here is awesome and the staff is super friendly! Every time we visit San Diego we come here and it never disappoints. Alejandra and Luis did a great job for us tonight! Thanks we appreciate the awesome dinner!
