Martinho Da Arcada - Évora

Comida típica portuguesa a muy buen precio. El tamaño de los platos está muy bien. Comimos bacalao dorado y la carne a la alentejana.

We were with a private guide who brought us to this little gem for lunch, away from the main street. They did not appear to speak English, which to me was a good sign. Our guide did the ordering. I know we had black pork with potatos, and two seafood dishes, all delicious. At the end of the meal our waiter brought us ginja(complimentary) . Very nice touch.

The service was very slow and the salmon was not properly cooked and was unseasoned. I would not recommend this place. The waiter did not speak English.

My wife and I had the luck to find this wonderful little restaurant during a recent stay in Evora. The food was fantastic, my wife had a salmon steak which was huge and perfectly cooked. I had a cod dish which again was delicious. Great service and incredible value.
