Excellent dining experience! I've been here twice now, and the queensadilla appetizer and the paella were my favorites so far. Everything we tried was absolutely delicious!
Recently, we visited the new location and, while reviewing the menu, we were served chips and salsa. To our surprise, the chip basket contained only about 7 or 8 chips, which was less than half full. When I requested additional chips, I was informed that there would be an extra charge. I explained that there weren’t enough chips for two people to share. The server consulted with the manager, a young man, who came to our table. He asked about the issue, and when I mentioned the insufficient chips, he started explaining food costs and stated that the chips were complimentary and that he didn’t even have to offer them. His defensive demeanor and lack of customer service left us feeling unwelcome, so we decided to leave before placing our order. We will not be returning. Save your time—there are better restaurants nearby that value their customers and make them feel welcome.
Viva mexico is my favorite Mexican restaurant in nj. eating is amazing, the portions are huge and the service is always friendly and timely. they simply moved into a new location in an old house on the main street in flemington, and it is beautiful, in a lot of space and unsightly decoration. yesterday I hosted 16 of my fellow workers for lunch there and it was excellent.
Great place, very friendly staff, generous portions. My honey had chicken fajitas, I had bistek a la Mexicana, both delicious. They've moved from former Turntable Junction location to 148 Main St, Flemington NJ. So, don't be misled by their website which has not been updated. Try it!
