You can tell they are trying hard. I'm sure this place is a steady 4 most of the time. When I got there on a Saturday evening they were swamped. I took the chefs table, all alone in a corner with a view of the action. And oh boy was there action. The staff seemed overwhelmed the whole time. I couldn't tell who was the lead on what. I had plenty of time to make these observations as I was seated and ignored for the better part of a half hour. Maybe cause bigger tables matter more when you are scrambling, I'm not sure. The poor **** who had to pull over to serve me must have asked the bartender three times to make my Caesar. It was standard fare, but unfortunately arrived after my meal, which I found annoying. The pasta special was on point however and I don't hold a grudge. It was salmon and fresh veg in a dill cream sauce. Perfect amount of penne and fish. Glad I didn't order an appetizer (other than the Caesar) cause it was a large portion. They gladly provided a little sambal on the side cause I like heat with my cream sauces lol. <br/ I think on a normal night this place would not disappoint. <br/ $65 for one with main, cocktail, and tip. <br/ Would try again.
