General I met a friend in Freiburg for breakfast. The Café Journal was recommended by a friend. We have tried and will certainly go back. Operation Very friendly staff. The young lady understood that she had to come a second time to pick up the order when we had not chosen the first time. When I additionally ordered a lobster bar during the meal, it seemed irritated. We didn't understand that because you can order something during a whole visit. Or not? The food I found the breakfast offer very diverse. There is no wish open and you have a variety of possibilities. It's not necessarily the cheapest, but good. Here it should be noted that there is still a drink in the breakfast prices, because in most possibilities there is only a small glass of O juice. Coffee or tea must then be ordered separately as desired. I chose American breakfast. You get a glass of O juice, a plate of scrambled eggs with ham and two slices of toast butter. I feel a proud price for it. The tea comes with 2 EUR. In addition, I had ordered a separate lobe bar (OHNE butter) calculated at EUR 1.20. It should be emphasized positively that the stirrer is made from fresh eggs and not from whole egg from the tetrapack. My friend had the standard breakfast with rolls, croissant, butter, jam, musella, boiled egg and also a glass of O juice. She also had a latte Macchiato. She was very happy.
