The parking lot seemed to be shared with other shops. Inside the restaurant, there were a few customers already seated. Since I was dining alone, I was guided to a seat at the counter. The seats were separated by acrylic boards and the kitchen area was isolated with vinyl sheets, showing that proper measures were being taken against COVID-19. I ordered the mixed set meal with horse mackerel, squid, and pork fillet. In addition to rice and miso soup, the meal came with side dishes of simmered root vegetables and pickles. The portion of rice was a bit small, but you could order more for 150 yen. The fried dishes were all crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, especially the horse mackerel which was deliciously plump. The fact that all this cost only 1,000 yen including tax was impressive. The service was also good, and it was easy to see why there were many regular customers. Thank you for a wonderful meal.
A friendly restaurant popular among locals. I ordered the mixed set meal which came with fried squid, fried fish, and pork cutlet, as I was craving for fried fish. Since I had to wait a bit, they also served me a side dish of stir-fried burdock roots. Everything was delicious and I left fully satisfied.
A cozy local izakaya-style restaurant with a homey atmosphere? It feels like coming back home when you are warmly welcomed by the kind hostess apologizing for the cold weather. The appetizer was delicious and when we complimented it, we were secretly offered a refill. The mixed fry set meal was satisfying and we enjoyed every bite. Take care of yourself and keep up the good work.
