The salads were incredibly fresh, and we also recommend trying the stuffed mushrooms or the hot pots. They also offer a fantastic fish and chips option. The restaurant is BYO licensed, and the employees were helpful and friendly. We will definitely be returning.
I am a big fan of this fish and chip restaurant. I highly recommend trying their Calamari rings, stuffed mussels, and the single pack. The father and son who run the restaurant are some of the friendliest owners I have ever met. They always have a smile on their faces and go out of their way to ensure that customers are happy. The variety of fish and the flavor of their chips are some of the best I have ever had. I have tried several dishes each time I have visited and have been very satisfied with every new menu item. We used to go to another restaurant before discovering this one, and while I still enjoy that restaurant, I now prefer coming here for the more family-friendly atmosphere without the loud music.
Hello everyone! As a seasoned traveler, I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance and now visit weekly. It offers some of the best food around, with generous portions and great service. I highly recommend it. The fish dish is especially delicious. Enjoy!
I was at this place at many places on lunch and dinner and every time I am in the opposite, I have to treat myself with their delicious food. the fish is so fresh and tasty that they really enjoy them every byte! No...matt, what they order on the menu will not disappoint. I recommend to give this place an attempt and to decide for yourself! have I also mentioned that they make the best chips?
Our family have been to this Chapel Street seafood restaurant several times now and at first we thought it was okay and continued to dine there. Just recently, we were shocked when we ordered a large size chips to go with our fish.. only to...see the pathetic serving of chips that the owners/staff passed on to us. We were taken down because for nearly all we had to show for it was a few slim and small sizes of fish (mostly batter dripping in fat), a few calamari rings and of course the serving of chips that is suitable for a toddler, not a family. Travellers, don't be fooled by the owners/staff friendly demeanor Fish Off the Hook, Chapel Street is not a value for money restaurant, but rather a stingy, overpriced one. Shop around and I'm sure you will find more bang for your buck than here.
