China Gate - Golden

It's decent. It's the only restaurant in the area. Considering the quality and the prices, I'm giving it 3 stars. I usually order from here about once a month. The fried rice isn't great; I usually add some bacon to it when I get home to improve it a bit.

Chinese cuisine is my absolute favorite, and China Gate serves amazing dishes! I would choose the Porcelain Anor over the Porcelain Buffet or Garden in Missoula any day!

This restaurant is quite popular, but I believe it could be improved. It used to be closed on Mondays, and I feel that the dining experience was better back then compared to the current seven-day operation.

I recommend not going to this Chinese restaurant, even if you are craving some Chinese food. Buy some frozen Chinese food and save yourself the pain of eating China Gate's food. It couldn't be worse. We ordered Chow Mein and received a soggy and soupy cabbage dish with no noodles. When I called the restaurant to request our money back, the woman yelled at us and said it was my fault. The Fried Rice has no vegetables in it, and actually tastes like bad brown rice.
