I had their version of a beef dip, and it was totally delicious, a tad spicy but not too, the picture of a perfect beef dip. Inside seating on tables with benches. Big assortment of drinks in a nearby fridge. I'm not usually a sandwich person, but this is definitely worth trying.
The sandwiches are delicious, and the tomato bisque soup is outstanding. Everything is made from scratch using recipes that have been passed down through generations. The service is excellent and quick.
I ordered the spicy crunch baguette, which is filled with their crispy chicken, spicy coleslaw, and a zesty spread. It's honestly the BEST sandwich I've had here! I also added pepper jack cheese and jalapeños, which made it even spicier and more delicious. It paired perfectly with a lime seltzer.
I give this restaurant five stars for its ambiance, staff, and overall vibe. However, the food didn't quite meet my expectations. We ordered the grilled cheese dip and the Venetian sandwich. The grilled cheese was decent but lacked a sufficient amount of cheese, with an overwhelming amount of bread—definitely an unbalanced ratio. The bisque was flavorful, but I personally prefer a creamier texture, which this one didn't have, so I wasn't particularly fond of it. Everything was of great quality—especially the ube cookie, which was delicious! While I wasn't thrilled with our sandwich choices, I'm open to returning to try some other options.
