Golden Pot - Hart

Yesterday, I visited this restaurant for the first time with a friend. We used to get fish and chips often during lockdown. The fish and mussels were fantastic, and the atmosphere and staff were also great.

We had heard and read many good reviews about this place, but we have to say that we were very disappointed about our visit with the food it was very average nothing special. we will not go back.

This was a fantastic lunch stop during our journey. The squid was exceptionally delicious, followed by the excellent sea bass. The chips were exceptional, and the salted caramel ice cream was the perfect ending. We washed it all down with white Rioja and limoncello. The host, Steve, was a great Geordie who we had a wonderful time with. We all shared a love for the same music and had a fantastic meal together. Thank you, Steve, Jackie, and Abi.

It was a pleasure to be welcomed by a host who clearly goes above and beyond to ensure everything is perfect for his guests. We had reserved a table for 11 and all the dishes were excellent. He even noticed that my son accidentally dropped one and instead of replacing it with something else, he brought out a whole plate for him! The meal was well-priced, with a good variety of options and generous portions. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Intimate restaurant in Eversley, good parking with such a wonderful menu with lots of fresh sea food, excellent food and service.
