Kix Bbq - Hauula

I can't believe I'm going to have such a delicious galbi in Hawaii! Galbi is as delicious as ribs eaten in Korea. They have a lot of sides. I went to eat galbi with my family at the nearby beach so I couldn't be happier.

I love Kix BBQ! Huge portions, usually two meals for me!!! I like there combo plate of NY Strip and Calamari!

Eating was amazing and you get a lot at the price. the garnelentempura was perfectly crunchy and the calbi (short ribs) were for to die. cucumber kimchi was the best I had. shredded radishes and taegu were definitiw my fave sides. fried zucchini was meh, could have been better if it was hot and crispy, it just has to get when it is fresh. otherwise everything else was really good. in any case, you have to go back to try a few more things.

Ordered the Kalua Pig and Pork Adobo Kalua is good, but Adobo is very flavorful(try the adobo)! Regular plates are more than plenty so a mini plate should be enough to fill you up with no left overs. The cashier was friendly and service was fast!

I live in Laie, and I've heard about Kix from friends on several occasions. I was not disappointed at all. The customer service was excellent and very welcoming. I had the meat jun and kalbi, and they were delicious! I highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys Korean BBQ. Even if someone isn't a fan of Korean BBQ, the menu is quite extensive and includes all the local favorites.
