Anvil Pub - Horsefly

Excellent burger and beer special! great place to stop in horsefly. also homemade cakes looked delicious!

Note: our last visit was actually in summer 2018, but the date options are not going so far. we love to go to the anvil when we visit bc from here in Great Britain. we met the lovely sisters kim and bonnie many years ago, and we are still great friends. atmosphere great, wonderful eating and a lot of it. we also loved meeting the singing! Don't worry if you're expecting some kitchen. this is a village pub and you get brilliant and tasty pub grub! if they want something funny and namby-pamby, with a pathetic little baptismal food in the middle of a massive plate, with a whistle of jus around the edge, this is not the place for them.

Very recommended dinner in the anvil pub. friendly staff, great eating, cozy eating in or on the terrace.

Have had a few meals here and once from the four times was ok if they want a burger and fries their safe, that is quite decent! but if they're looking for something else, they don't expect to find it here very airplane. jane and uninteresting! the service at all locations was very disappointing, do not sit down and expect to see a waitress because if that happens, they have won the lotterie! I even stood up and began to clarify tables that once helped, and the waitress was very rude when I just tried, was clear some tables for people!

If you are heading to Horsefly plan to be there for lunch or dinner. The Anvil Pub is often busy for a reason. The food is really good and the servings are large. Enjoy!
