This location has terrible service. I waited 17 minutes in the drive-thru, and I was the only one in line. The staff were not attentive during my entire wait, and when I finally received my food, they were out of condiments.
The evening manager on Fridays is incredibly friendly, providing excellent customer service. The food was fresh and served hot.
I really appreciate that they have $5 fill-ups! Furthermore, the chicken at the Washington location has been impressively good lately, much better than it used to be.
Unfortunately, the bowl I received didn’t meet my standards. The mac and cheese tasted like it had been sitting out for hours and was served cold. To make matters worse, the bowl was barely half full, which really added to my disappointment. I may be exaggerating a bit, but saying I was let down would be an understatement. Perhaps it was just the particular location I visited, but it didn’t align with the usual quality I expect from KFC’s mac and cheese. I often make special trips just for this dish, especially since I had been craving it for so long. However, this experience didn't ruin my love for KFC's mac and cheese. I believe it will always be the best out there. I hope that the next time I go, the mac and cheese will be back to the golden quality I love, rather than cold and hard like this time. If the mac hadn’t been stale and the bowl had been filled properly, it could have been fantastic! I will definitely try it again, maybe from a different location.
