The burger with all the toppings is amazing - it comes with double beef patties, cheese, bacon, and a fried egg. Get a side of chips to complete your perfect lunch, but be sure to double check your bill to ensure you're charged correctly!
Jandakot Airport, established in 1963, is one of the busiest airfields and largest aviation training bases in Australia. Accessing the airport is simple - from Roe Highway, take the Karel Avenue exit and follow the signs to Jandakot Airport, passing Spud Shed along the way. If you prefer public transport, Transperth now offers a bus service (515 and 516 routes) between Murdoch Station and the airport. At Jandakot Airport, you can visit the public viewing area and café, Aviators Café, which is a wonderful spot to enjoy a picnic with loved ones. The café is open from 7.30am to 3.30pm on weekdays, 9am to 2pm on Saturdays, and closed on Sundays. Prices are reasonable, with a takeaway coffee and muffin costing $9, and a bowl of chips and gravy priced at $8.50. Feel free to bring your own picnic and relax on the lawn while watching planes and helicopters take off and land.
A great museum that is a must for any aviation enthusiast, and also for anyone interested in history in this part of WA.
The aviation museum in Bull Creek is the place to go if you are an aviation enthusiast or you just simply love history.
Friendly staff and reasonable prices but the food quality is very hit and miss. Received a soggy sandwich with wet bread - not at all appealing. And previously ordered a pie that was dry and stale. However on other days the quality is good with tasty rolls and sandwiches. Some consistency would help a lot.
