Merzen - Калуга

Overall, the restaurant has a cozy atmosphere with a nice interior and plenty of seating. However, the service leaves much to be desired. It was hard to get the attention of the waitstaff, and even when I managed to place an order, I had to wait at least half an hour for it to arrive. Some of the waiters seemed to lack knowledge about cocktails. I ordered a drink with raspberries and specifically asked if there were any seeds or if it was made with strained raspberry puree or concentrate. They assured me there were no seeds, but in the end, I had to chew on seeds and spent the entire evening trying to get them out of my teeth.

This is a lovely place. While passing through Kaluga, we stopped in for a bite to eat. We were pleasantly surprised by the menu, the quality of the food, the cleanliness, and the quick service. There is parking available. Everything was delicious and served quickly. I highly recommend it!

Merzen has always been a great place for relaxation, but during the penultimate weekend of summer, things didn't quite go as expected. The restaurant was fully booked, there was a shortage of waitstaff, and an incorrect estimate of the ingredients for the dishes meant that by 9 PM, half of the salads and several drinks were unavailable. The waitstaff were stretched thin between tables and ended up ignoring us completely; I ended up having to get the menu and drinks myself. The salad I ordered, made with spinach, zucchini, and quinoa, was very tasty, but it took an hour to arrive, and no one offered to take additional orders. Honestly, I left hungry, both for food and drinks. The singer that evening was excellent, but the cover band was lackluster. By midnight, it became boring and disappointing, even though we had planned to have fun all night long.

Наш любимый ресторан в городе Калуга. Вкусная кухня, безумно приятный персонал, цены не сильно кусаются Сколько раз были проездом, уже, как ритуал, обязательно в этот ресторан заезжаем покушать. Рекомендую к посещению, есть детское и не менее вкусное меню. На Рождество попали на выступление группы, очень понравились ребята, классно поют и играют. Ресторану желаю главное не меняться, а то во многих заведениях начинают за здравие... Поэтому не будьте как все, будьте классными до конца!!! Всем добра и мирного неба над головой
