Happy Harbour - Kilkee

Placed an order for collection and it was ready in the flashest of flashes. My face could barely handle the taste explosion. Would recommend it to anyone looking for some soakage before hitting the main strip, for a pub crawl.

Great Chinese food at reasonable prices. Great service, would definitely recommend the set menu. Staff very friendly and nothing too much trouble. Highly recommend.

I got vegetable Kung po. I found 2 hairs in the sauce. Disgusting. The veg tasted off then I discovered the 2 hairs. My daughter got a spice bag which was just weird it has a moist sauce all over which no spice bag she ever ate had before. Would not recommend.

I made the mistake of ordering a takeaway here for dinner one night. My order had one dish wrong and three dishes missing so I rang to let the staff know. A girl called Katie answered and she was polite and offered me a complimentary meal which I refused. I was then called back a day later by an ignorant little girl called Aisling who accused me of asking for free food and told me to never come back! As a restaurant manager myself I was shocked and embarrassed to see a premises treat local customers in such an awful manner. Food has gone downhill in the past few years, very greasy and bland, my fried rice was very chewy. I contacted Sherri the manager to see if she stood behind the young girls behaviour and she did, will not be ordering from here again, lovely Chinese available just down the road in kilrush. It does not surprise me to see this restaurant at the bottom of the pile for food in kilkee.

I have never been to Beijing but I can only imagine it is a similar culinary experience to tucking into my takeaway recently. All the meals were delicate yet flavoursome. I would say they would say they were as good the second day but they didn't last that long!!! LOL
