Texas Ribs Bbq - La Plata

I wanted to try a new BBQ spot and try this place for the first time. Have I been living in Texas for years and me? this BBQ was easy? The ribs were tender, but the sauce wasn't good. I was also disappointed with the lack of taste in my topped green and Mac n cheese. After all, the chicken didn't look right, so I just donated money for this business.

Great barbecue dining experience. The short ribs and brisket are some of the best in the area. Try the sharp shrimp assistant. They won't be disappointed. An ice cream on the way home. Perfect!

Delicious food, the right prices (even in this inflation-free economy), friendly staff and owners. Total nice setting. We tried almost everything on the menu and it is finger licking good except baby back ribs. Next time.

Let me tell you this!!!! This is the best TEXAS BBQ I had outside Texas, this is not my coverts and his brother. I wanted to stop and try as I drive 301 at least 2x a month and I am so glad that I!! I don't care about NC, VA or Memphis BBQ. How could I when I was married to a Texan? I ordered the brisket sandwich with Koleslaw and it was PERFECTION as if I had ordered it from the local business in my hometown when his family did not break the smokers. We have the sweet and another sauce that was also perfect. I was mad that I just ordered a sandwich because I wanted more for dinner. I will definitely come back here. I could take my ex-sample!!

2nd time eating here...sadly the same result. Very long wait for food. We placed order at counter to eat outside then paid and tipped at counter.Was yold 25-20 minute wait. We waited over 40 minutes tor 2 BBQ sandwiches. Friendly staff, food was hot and good flavor, nice eating area outside but just too slow. 40 minutes wait seems unreasonable for what we ordered.
