Esperanca - Lisboa

A lovely restaurant where I had the best carbonara ever!! The drinks weren't great and my friends didn't rate their food sadly. The service was ok, nothing spectacular. The location was great but if breezy, opt for inside as it's cold on the street. We booked but didn't need to, a nice enough find.

An Italian restaurant in the Bairro Alto area. Pasta and pizza were good. The tables outside were nice when the weather was warm enough. The reason to go there is more the atmosphere than the excellent food.

Came across this Italian restaurant with outdoor seating. The pizza options were vast, including quite a few options for vegetarians. Also other pasta items available. The pizzas were delicious, and service was quick.

I’ve been a customer of this restaurant for almost 15 years, and it used to be a very nice restaurant, excellent service with tasty and generous pizzas. Unfortunately, it seems that there was a change in the management and, currently, the service is extremely slow and disorganized a big mess. They seem to be just focused on serving their uber eats customers. Waiting almost 2 hours for a pizza is not normal. On top of all that, the espresso coffee machine was broken, something unthinkable in Portugal. It saddens me to do this review, but please avoid this place, it’s not worth your visit and your money. The pizzas are still good though, so your best bet would be to order from uber eats.
