The quirky decor of this restaurant gives it a fun, chilled atmosphere which is great for meeting friends or colleagues for lunch. However, the slow service lets it down. We wouldn't go back to this restaurant simply because we don't have enough time in our lunch break to wait for the service. Everyone enjoyed their food and the portions were great, except for the pulled pork which was apparently really fatty. Overall, it's fine but not brilliant.
Nice venue better known for being a City drinking and (downstairs) dance venue rather than an eatery in my opinion. However, their food and menu offering is decent. For what you get I think it is a little overpriced compared to other local similar venues and I do find the service either too rash i.e being asked for drinks and menu choices within the first minutes before you have got comfortable or two delayed where you are looking to make eye contact to encourage you orders to be taken. We had a booking for 7 and 6/7 enjoyed the food and accompanying wine. The only complaint was via a Steak Sandwich of which once you dissected the bread, the meat used was very fattie, chewy and of poor quality.
Not too busy. Good selection on the summer menu. Reasonably priced too.
Imagine the pictures but full of people standing! Definitely not a restaurant. Shoved through a busy bar of people to a couple of tables at the back by security then left with menus for 30 minutes without anyone telling us to order at bar. When we finally asked someone carrying empty glasses he said to go order at bar. We queued for 20 mins at the bar to order food but only one bar staff for 50+ people waiting to be served so realised it wasn’t going to happen so left. Shame because the menu looked nice and it could have been pretty easy for them to prioritise food orders at the bar.
