Whataburger - Lubbock

I visited around 1 a.m., and it was surprisingly empty inside. I ordered two taquitos and some onion rings, and they were incredibly fresh and delicious! The onion rings were hot and crispy, and I was really impressed by how good they tasted. I usually go to the location on 19th, but I might have to switch to this one from now on!

We stop in Lubbock overnight about 4 or 5 times a year when traveling between Austin and Colorado, and we always choose to have dinner at this Whataburger. However, after consistently receiving incorrect orders, we've decided that we won’t return. The lack of customers at 6 PM should be a clear indication of something amiss. We always request a plain grilled chicken sandwich for our dog—no sauce, no lettuce, no tomatoes, just the chicken and the bun. Yet, every single time, we get everything piled onto it! When ordering a junior cheeseburger with jalapeños, I was informed that they couldn't accommodate that, despite the app allowing for it. I'm not sure if the staff are college students, but I sincerely hope they're not, as it would reflect poorly on our education system. It's evident that they lack the basic comprehension skills expected at any age.

Always a wonderful experience! The food is served hot and fresh, and the staff are attentive and very friendly. I highly recommend it. My sons and I love stopping by here whenever we come for my doctor's appointments.

I visited this restaurant a couple of months ago, and the food was quite disappointing. The chicken strips were overcooked and dry, the fries were soggy, and the gravy was watery. I also ordered onion rings, but to my shock, I found a half-eaten sandwich in the bag as well. I wish I were joking; I initially thought the wrapped sandwich was an accidental extra, but it had clear bite marks on it. I won't be returning here again.

Good burgers but the fries are the best! Shoestring fries that aren't drowned in oil are unbeatable. I've always wanted to try Whataburger...now I can check it off the list.
