The crab linguine had minimal crab and was served in an unusual Asian-inspired broth. The dessert was fantastic, and the ambiance was lively but too hot inside. The service was mediocre. Overall, I would rate the experience a 6 or 7 out of 10, with service and value for money being a 4.
I visited this restaurant to inquire about adding two more people to our reservation, but the customer service was very unresponsive. They mentioned that the phone in the kitchen made it difficult to hear me, and the environment was not conducive to communication with customers. I recommend reconsidering booking a table here, as they seem unfriendly and not accommodating for special occasions. I am relieved that we ultimately chose not to dine at this establishment.
We had luck to visit wilson’s boathouse in manly for my birthday dinner. renovations were still in progress, but I was very glad to hear that they added a new Oyster bar! the food and the intention are both brilliant and the service is excellent....Aaman has perfectly looked after us and made our experience even more pleasant. the sand crab lasagne was to die and all the courses were so good. the wine list is also excellent. can not wait to go back and enjoy the oyster bar! was also very pleased to see a children's menu and that children are well maintained.
I brought my wife to wilson a few weeks ago. we took the time to talk to the "NEW" manager. the old reviews are not relevant. the restaurant has been renovated and the food and service are of high quality. wilson’s restaurant in manly. has opened a few years ago (I think about 15 years ago). I was there in the early days. it was of good quality and good value for money. I believe that the previous administration lets the standard slide too much. the previous negative assessments on this side were carried out during the down phase. this restaurant was reborn and is worth another visit. I think everything will be surprised
We have been to Wilson 's Boat House a number of times over the years. Always interesting in the service department. Some one called it the local Faulty Towers. The food has been alright, best described as average. We went there mostly for the great view...of the boat harbour.Today, however, finished our casual attendance at this place. We had bought a CUDO discount voucher for here and today was the last day to use it. The voucher was for a normal three course lunch off the normal menu. Nothing fancy or extra special. So we called for a reservation for lunch. We were told by the manager that it was required to call two days in advance to use this voucher. No where on the voucher does it say this. There was nothing he could do for us. We will be telling all our families and friends about this. Bye, bye for ever.
