We ordered lunch, dine in. Waitress was at a table in the dining room FaceTiming on her phone. I ordered the chicken katsu bun and she asked me 3 separate times... Friend ordered spicy tonkatsu ramen and was given normal had to ask for it spicy again. Waitress seemed distracted and unhappy, dining room was empty save for 1 or 2 other customers. Most orders seemed to be takeout. The chicken was mostly crust , and very little was actually chicken. It was very dry and flavourless, barely any topping or sauce. The ramen was meh. I paid $10 for the buns and my friend paid $14 for her ramen not worth the price. Worst food and service I’ve had in a very long time.

If it wasn't for the clanking of some dishes back in the kitchen, I would've thought the place was abandoned. After waiting with no acknowledgement/sight of anyone who works here, we gave up. Would be willing to update this review if I ever get to try the food.

The person at the desk was more interested in playing with one of the three cellphones she was using.

This restaurant is absolutely amazing! It's family-owned by a brother and sister, and one of the owners told us he apprenticed for years with his family to mast... The flavor of the broth is incredible—such depth and richness. I was especially impressed with the tonkotsu ramen. The atmosphere is sleek and upscale yet still comfortable, with smooth music and soft lighting that sets the right mood. I highly recommend giving this place a try. It's a solid 10/10 and has quickly become a new favorite. If you've never had tonkotsu or ramen before, you can't go wrong at Okko. Treat yourself to a visit!
