Hop Tung - Mc Allen

This can be the best restaurant for a vegan or vegetarian dinner. happy kuh is allowed only four stars, as it is not a complete vegetarian or vegan restaurant. Otherwise I would give it 5 stars. there were so many options, of which I needed a long time to get our dinner. my transition man could not believe that tofu could taste so good. the waiter was beautiful and very knowledgeable about the huge menu options, especially how to tweak on all food restrictions.

We arrived after 9 a.m. so that they only prepare the delivery orders with which we were happy. we have the general tso’s tofu (as recommended in another HC review), broccoli in garlauch sauce and sauteed baby bok choy. portions were good size and eating was tasteful and delicious. broccoli was still quite firm; we prefer a little softer/cooked longer. bok choy and brown rice were right. lots of sauce in every dish. wanted to order dessert, but the woman who took our order did not know that the ingredients, said they were not made there and could not check the ingredients so that we passed. the food was quickly prepared and was still hot when we were in our hotel 20 minutes away. hubs was happy, so we would eat again.

I love her kung pao tofu roast vegetarian earlylings! I also love her sweetheart. the personal is very friendly, but it seems as if I only see the same (very few) people. sometimes I have to call a few times before I get someone to answer the phone.

Hop tung has a really impressive selection for vegan/vegetarian customers. you eat is always beautifully made, and their portions are quite large in the regular. I have noticed, however, that the device in the regular low on the staff is, which means that the service tends to get slow, especially when the traffic is busy.

This restaurant has many vegetarian options and is probably as close to a vegetarian restaurant as you will find in McAllen. The Veg-General Tso with tofu is super...well done Hop Tung! Knowledgeable and friendly staff will help you with ordering the better/favorite menu items. Try one of the funny bubble teas ..they have a huge menu of these tapioca-pearl smoothies.
