After hearing good things about this place, we decided to visit. Arrived an hour before closing and ordered burgers. Minutes later we were told the grill was closed for the night. Instead ordered the Beef dip but got the Philly steak sandwich served instead. Sandwich was tiny. Other dish was a grilled cheese with bacon on the side. Grilled cheese sandwich was nice and cheesy although plate was void of any garnish. This place is known for its milkshakes, ordered a churro shake. Looked delicious but we quickly found it was less than 50% shake, bottom portion was nothing but whipped cream! Maybe at a diner, you have to ask for a stray for your beverage and have to ask for water….had to ask for both. Service was decent, however place was nearly empty, now I know why…..
Food mediocre, $50.00 for 2 breakfasts and 2 sides with coffee. Service just ok. Won’t be back. Did not enjoy our meal much, and the prices high
We had a good mid morning breakfast here. The person who greeted us carefully checked our vaccination status which we appreciated. The spot looks very clean and well kept up. The service was fast and friendly, coffee was on the table within a minute. Our veggie omelette and protein skillet were excellent. Would go back in a heartbeat.
We made the trek to downtown Milton to sample ice cream at Troy's but there were no cones or sundaes, just milk shakes. The shakes were all modern themed, with cookies, bananas, donuts, etc included with the ice cream and milk. The shakes were regulary priced and exotic, and enjoyable. We looked over the meu and it is varied and priced as usual for diners.
