Aviator - Montgomery

Been here a couple times before and absolutely love this place! Whoever created this put a lot of time, effort and care into creating a fascinating place that also pays great tribute to our men and women in uniform. They have a nice beer selection and full bar and it's just a great place to hang out and take in some history.

Would love to give this place 5 stars for its awesome decorations and ambience but the service was extremely poor. There were two military graduations going on in the local area so this place was always going to get a crowd but it was being ran by two grouchy bartenders. Stopped taking cards, put nice bourbon in plastic cups, and shut down the bar to restock. Needless to say it killed momentum and the celebrations. Can tell this place has a rich heritage amongst service members, shame service had to cloud that

This bar warms the heart of all aviators. It is decked out in aviation antiques and war memorabilia. It has multiple rooms and is two levels filled with fascinating pictures, articles and historical aviation gear. Hours open: 5pm-12am
