Taco John's - Mountain Home

Whoever made my 6 tacos tonight gets a 5 star. I felt like a rabbit eating a pound of lettuce that was in my tacos, but they managed to put in enough beef so I didn't feel like a vegan. I would've left a tip if I knew I was getting it like this.

Stopped in for a quick family lunch. Ordered a crunchy chicken burrito which was literally fried chicken tenders, iceberg lettuce, tomatoes and nacho cheese sauce. That 's actually called a wrap. So much cheese on everything, no flavor, super small for $6. Hot sauce was not hot, bland and tasted like ketchup. Service was good, except they forgot our drinks. Also, outdoor bathrooms with broken locks, that was fun. All for trying something new, but this is not Mexican food, and it was pricey.

This place hasn't been remodeled in a long time but don't let it fool you, the food and service are pretty good! My favorite item is the chicken street tacos. Always good and fresh! Service is always pleasant and the place is kept clean. I also like the potato olés. Decent Mexican fast food place in downtown Mountain Home!

I just went into my local Taco Johns and ordered a quesadilla taco meal with a water to drink and mild sauce on the side. I received sweet tea and hot sauce instead of the latter. And I found a piece of paper inside one of my quesadilla tacos melted to the cheese.
