I was only twice, but now that I have a place in warren, we'll go with friends all the time! When I saw the first time, I was excited.
First of all, despite what yelp says, this is not homosexual bar. it is a good historical dive a few feet from the border. it's been here since 1931. people are.
So we drive to the border and while I have my passport, some of the members in my group do not have it with them. We sit down and have some drinks and the atmosphere is really cool. I can tell there is something getting ready to start and it turns out to be a mixed group pool competition. Met a really nice guy at the bar and he tells me he and his wife go across the border with DL only, no passport so we do the same. It was OK'd by Border Patrol. But while we are here, i order my usual Jameson on the rocks and Jameson and ginger ale for the wife. Vanessa the bartender brings out her own home made ginger in honey which she added to soda water in place of ginger ale and man was it good. No it was GREAT! While this seems to be a locals bar, they are all very nice and accepting of new people coming in.
What a cool little place! Ashly was our Bartender and shared a bunch of the history of Naco with us. The drinks were great and the folks were very friendly and welcoming! Gotta check this place out if you are in town!!
