A nice discovery in Oudenaarde! Very tasty vegan dishes on the menu, first of all ask which dishes from the vegetarian part are vegan. The cook works with home -grown vegetables and herbs from the bio garden! The portions are large, half a liter of soup, the main course was served in a full stone pot, the rice is not even in the photo. There are also tasty wines on the menu, the Honoro Vera wines are vegan. Updated from previous review on 2022-08-28

Orathai has been our go-to Thai for a few years. Never had any complaints about the food nor the staff. A few vegetarian options that are also vegan: the Wok Tofu, Tofu in zoetzure saus (sweet and sour) and Tofu met rode of groene curry (red or green curry) are all great. So are the vegetable spring rolls (groentenloempia's) as starter. The Pad Thai tofu has egg, ask to make vegan. They are also flexible and don't mind making the non-vegetarian/vegan dishes vegan (e.g. replacing chicken with tofu). The terrace is very cozy with a lot of green and shade in the summer. Take-out is 10% cheaper but the take-away menu has less options. Updated from previous review on 2022-03-08
