Straits Cafe Perth Central

This restaurant exceeded my expectations. Despite some initial hesitation after reading reviews, I went with some colleagues for lunch. The $20.00 lunch deal included a house beverage and the promise of being ready in 20 minutes or receiving 20% off. Although it did take a bit longer for our table of 10, the food was well worth the wait. The portions were generous for the price, and my chicken couscous salad was delicious, with plenty of spinach, shredded carrot, pearl cous cous, a tasty dressing, chicken, pistachios, and sun-dried tomatoes. Everyone at the table seemed to enjoy their meal without any complaints. I would definitely consider returning to this restaurant.

I absolutely loved this restaurant. The waiter Adam was exceptional, very knowledgeable and provided genuine service. He is a valuable asset to the restaurant. The Chicken Chowder entree was outstanding - thick, creamy, and full of flavor. The pork chop and sweet potato chips, as well as the Singapore Curry mains, were sensational. The cinnamon donut sticks with chocolate dipping sauce for dessert were delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant, especially with the beautiful sunset view. It was a perfect evening for us as we are visiting from out of state. We will definitely be back before we head home.

This is a hidden gem! I recently stayed at the newly renovated Rendezvous Studio Hotel on Monday, the 7th. It was fantastic. The rooms were beautifully done and very comfortable. The overall look and feel of the hotel was modern and well executed. The staff in the restaurant were very friendly, especially our server Matt. We even thanked the Head Chef for the fantastic food. We shared the buffalo chicken wings and they were amazing. The ribs were also excellent and my partner enjoyed the eye fillet. Special thanks to Katherine for making our check-out process smooth. We loved our stay so much that we are already planning to book again for Australia Day!
