Malee's Thai On Main - Phoenix

Malee's is my favorite restaurant ever. I love the tropical pineapple, various curries, and pad Thai. The pandan (desert) is excellent and unusual. Although I was there last week, I am returning today to try something else. I know I will enjoy it.

I was so disappointed!!! I had the tamarind chicken and couldn't finish it because it was way too sweet. I had to eat it with a lot of rice, so it would take over the sweetness. And of course I had a lot left, and I asked to wrap it so I can take it home. They gave me the chicken and rice. When I came home and opened the rice container-I couldn't believe it. They charge $13 for what I had-and they gave me a container of rice ONLY HALF FULL! I just don't understand how the manager doesn't realize it makes the customer feel bad-and just for a little bit of rice-which sure doesn't hurt the restaurant to give! They would have given it to me if I had it in the restaurant! That is so disappointing!!! I don't think I will ever go to Malee's again.
