Cafe Moulin - Pittsburgh

I went to this restaurant with a non-vegan friend this morning. They offer vegan crepes with a selection of vegan toppings, both savory and sweet. I opted for a savory crepe which came with a side salad (which I substituted for fruit). The restaurant is small but cozy and cute, and conveniently located near the shops on Walnut St. in Shadyside. They also had a vegan shakshouka special on offer. We didn't have to wait at all, although we did go early on a weekday.

I had the avocado toast and a chai tea latte...AMAZING and light. There is also off street parking available.

Food is decent, gets a bit loud with the crowds during brunch hours. The Alaska was my go to dish but recently got it and it didn’t taste the best. Dessert crepes are solid.

Loved the atmosphere and food. The service was great.
