Pichiguel Cafe - Ríohacha

My wife, who is Colombian, and her brother and his wife and I, a Gringo came to this restaurant because of the departures on this side. What a mistake, either intrusive reviews or perhaps new owners. We arrived about an hour before closing. The Lord who welcomed us was not very pleasant. He took our order for drinks, but never offered a menu. He took our drinks and continued to sit. After a few minutes I realized he didn't want to give us the menu. I thought maybe they wouldn't eat anymore, because this is a very small place and was empty at 6:00. So I had to ask my wife if they were still serving food and the male waiter got an attitude. He said in a very unpleasant and rude attitude that we never asked for food. I thought that was a waiter job. And this has upset my wife and my brother. His attitude, the waiter, made me sick. We have left this place and will never return. I cannot recommend this restaurant to everyone. There are so many good restaurants in Rioacha. But not this one!

Beautiful and colorful place good for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The only place we found with a decent espresso machine!! The food was the best we had in Riohacha, I suggest that the flattened pepper steak was lubricated with potatoes. Although there was a clear language barrier, the service was so understanding and patient and tried to make recommendations.

Nice lunch of light soup (available with a veg option), with nets of grilled fish (in a light lentil battery ie gluten-free) and pasta and pesto. Nice atmosphere, with air conditioning.

The place is friendship with an atmosphere of home. You can eat the most delicious dishes of the colombian traditon, cooked with the international experience of Jova, the owner and chef. Every days fresh products from the market give you genuine foods and refreshing and juice juices. It's really the place to be to recharge your energy and keep going your journey. El lugar es amistoso con un sentido de hogar. Usted puede comer los platos más deliciosos de la tradición colombiana, cocinados con la experiencia internacional de Jova, la duena y la chef. Todos los días, los productos frescos del mercado le dan comidas genuinas y jugos refrescantes. Realmente es el lugar dond recargar tu energía y continuar tu viaje.

Un mundo de sabor, buena atencion, la comida deliciosa todo espectacular, recomiendo que vengan a visitar es un sitio super en esta ciudad yo soy de Italia y la pasta es mi comida favorita no creí encontrar algo así en sudamericana
