Hot Chip Burger - Rochester

Where do I begin? This is by far my favorite place to eat in town. Their menu is always changing and always delicious! I have yet to have something I didn 't like and I don 't think I 've had the same thing more than twice. The chef 's tastings are my favorite. If you like to 'try ' a little bit of everything.. The chef 's tasting is for you! The staff is always so kind and sweet it feels like family. I always take my out of town family and friends to Zzest. I 've yet to have someone at the end of the trip say their favorite restaurant was anything but Zzest! The patio in the summer is my my Moms special place to have wine and girls time. I could go on and on but nothing I say will compare to you being there so, just go, you won 't regret it!

I don't consider myself a foodie at all, but let me tell you about the foodgasm I just had! The service is wonderful! They are very knowledgable about the food! Super friendly, and just great all around!! They have great recommendations for the beer I like, and were very considerate when they found out about my food allergies!! The food, seriously brought me back to Italy with the Pizza I ate, and the beer made me think of my home state of Oregon!!! And if I were you I would get the Chocolate Sorbet! The flavor layers are amazing!!! This is worth the drive from the Twin Cities to come here!

I was into the restaurant on March 29th 2016 around 4:30, I had the Chicken Thigh Ragu. All I can say is WOW!!!!!! The circus of flavors on the palate were outstanding. Savory and Robust all in the same spoon full. I did order a side of crusty bread for dipping in the sauce, which was fantastic as well. I followed up the meal with a slice of parsnip cheesecake, goodness, that was out of this world!! I really enjoy all the creations at ZZest, and am always blown away by the dishes each time we stop by. The chefs quality and talents are exemplified by the product they put out, and the waitstaff is top notch. I love to explore food and visit many scratch cooking restaurants in my adventures. I have to say your staff and food are at the top of my list.

We had dinner tonight outside on the patio. It was our first time in the evening; we have gone for lunch a few times. The food was very good. We had a cheese plate, pizza, and dessert. Yum.

Love the atmosphere! Always make a point to eat here when I'm in town. Very friendly staff and wonderful unique food.
