Roasted pork and veal steak was delicious, we took home leftovers and enjoyed them the next day. Assorted cantuccini with vin santo topped off the meal. The staff is totally focused on bringing out food prepared to perfection.
Everything they do is great! It's de family meal taken for perfection. It's the food that you miss every day. Don't expect anything sophisticated, it's just cooked right. Great Fiorentina with a side of beans! I highly recommend it!!!
We ate here twice the first time as a couple, the second time as a family group. We really enjoyed the food here, the stand out dishes were the wild boar pasta (cinghiale) and mushroom pasta, the tiramisu and really unusual rose flavoured Torta della Nonna. We also thought the house wines were lovely, the white turned out to be a jug of Prosecco which for €3 for 1/2 litre was great value. Nice location overlooking the river, there is outside space but only available for dinner I think. This restaurant does great traditional food, meat eaters probably fare best here and we think it's fantastic value, we had the mixed antipasti starter, 6 plates of pasta, 2 side dishes, 1/2 litre Prosecco, 1 litre red wine, and 5 desserts all for under €100, and nice friendly staff who love kids. We drove past it the first time though as it has Albergo written on the building at the bottom and the Da Marino bit is much higher up on the building.
We're having lunch with my wife, show, so we're back and we're coming back.
Excellent Tuscan lunch, excellent quality and very varied menu. the price was really content compared to the quality and peculiarity of what was eaten. the place is very nice and beautiful. only negative note that we found unheated sufficiently, the constant feeling of cold content did not make me fully enjoy an otherwise excellent experience
