The atmosphere was unpleasant, the food was subpar, and there were various issues throughout our meal. After waiting for an hour, we were told that they had run out of calamari and Caesar salad, leaving us with only the option of pizza. The fish we ordered tasted like it had been frozen, but the chips were enjoyable. The outdoor seating area had a no smoking sign that was not enforced, and the seating arrangements were uncomfortable. Despite the friendly staff, there were clearly not enough employees working due to a couple of people calling in sick. Overall, the management needs to address these issues and ensure that the menu is adequately stocked. This will be our first and last visit to this establishment. The new atrium was particularly disappointing.
The restaurant was absolutely awful - the atmosphere was terrible and everything was chaotic. Despite the low prices, it may only be suitable for a decent cook to afford.
This restaurant is a disaster. We were asked how our meal was before it was even served, and we had to wait a long time even though we were the only customers in the restaurant. The steak night special we ordered had overcooked steaks. Additionally, there was a small bug in our pint and beer that we did not order. The community child toys were unnecessary, especially given the Covid cleaning requirements, and the place did not seem well-maintained. It was a confusing experience for us. The staff was polite and well-groomed, but the overall atmosphere was chaotic. There is so much potential for this place to be great, but it fell short.
Unfortunately, this facility needs a close administration. the rooms look bad. air conditioning didn't work. the meal took 75 minutes to be served....Parma and chips, pizza and steak! the eye fillet was expensive and was asked for medium....it was totally stained! could only eat half as I couldn't make enough spikel to get it down! could be good if there was the open and maybe a few dollar in the uprising.
The New Atrium Restaurant is situated at the Safety Beach Country Club Golf Club complex. The is quite a large building divided into 4 areas. On entering there is a very casual area which appears to be a Nursery where there are playing facilities for...children and a basic licensed bistro. There is also a Sportsman 's Lounge which is where we ate, and a large undercover area outside Beer Garden that overlooks the Golf Course and Tennis Courts. The fourth area is a Function Room. Being post Pandemic the place appeared to be in disarray and of course some new staff training BUT they have to start sometime. The service was however quite good. The menu provided sufficient options and the prices were cheaper than many Pubs. A good Red Wine was $8 PEPPER JACK). There Seniors Roast was so good, so tender and so plentiful $14). My son and I had Scotch Fillet which we both enjoyed I would definitely go again.
