They could drive on this rather ramshackle wooden place on 17-92 and be forgiven for being an Italian dipping. it's not. it is a Japanese dipping! with a cook that trains in nobu and morimoto asia! this is a izakaya, a pub or sporty with tapas style eating. yes, they have sushi, but the sushi I tried was just meh. they go instead for the cooked food: delicious hot octopus dumplings, small Japanese sausages, fussy boar bell with sharply sawed vegetables. the ground is good, but expensive. drink a beer. Wednesday is ramennacht!
Excellent selection of unique Japanese small plates, as well as superlative sushi, ramen and even hitachino on draft!
Excellent eating, fun cooking, good staff, but terrible location. I would like to recommend if they are down in direction 1.
I ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen since Im sick and I feel so much better now after! the broth is so delicious!! You can really get the hints of ginger from it!
