Contribuer aux commentairesNunya had better slider sauce than the signature Nunya sauce at marination. I have the Kalua pork slides and a Kimchi roasted rice dish both with Nunya sauce. The fusion of Hawaiian food here is super light and refreshing. It is not like most restaurants as you go, order on the window, and then sit down. You get a summer when your food is ready. Ours were ready within a few minutes of the order. The dining area is all windows with magnificent views of downtown Seattle over the water and a seating area outdoors on the waterfront. Really a great experience for the price $10-15 per person).
Finally, the chance had to try this beautiful place in West Seattle and I absolutely loved it! It is in a beautiful location on the water so you can enjoy the views of the Seattle skyline with your meal for free. I have the 4 pieces of tacos with their chicken, calbi and pig. I loved all and their enclosed toppings, but the Kalbi was definitely my favorite! Her delicious fried rice is also delicious. Love this place and will definitely be back!
What an incredible place. Like having a small piece of Hawaii on the mainland. Musubi worth eating. The loaded Hand cut Fries and fish sandwich were also delicious. Just on the other side of Elliott Bay. Seats are limited but worth the wait
If we all had beloved auntie's that invited us over to eat, that's how I can best describe Marination Ma Kai.Talk about food made with love.I've never had kim chi fried rice. It is my new favorite fried rice. The fish sando is like, how good you remembered a McDonalds filet o fish to be as a kid, except this one is infinitely higher quality. Ordering online is easy. Picking up is easy- there's a parking lot!! On the water!! Drive 2 min up the road, park on the side of the road- there is street parking, and eat overlooking Alki Beach. If it's raining, casual seating inside as well. Worth a long drive, prioritize going during the day tho so you can check out the epic views of Seattle and the Sound.
Hawaiian spot next to the West Seattle Water Taxi Pier, serving your usual Hawaiian dishes with a bit of a Korean and Mexican flare.I've been here twice so far, and I think it's a really nice place to go whenever in West Seattle/Alki. I got the Aloha Fries the first time and I thought it was pretty good, the meat was nice and the fries were decent. Second time I came I got the Fish N' Chips. It was nice and crispy, and the sauce that came with it was good. I also have gotten their shaved ice and I really enjoyed it, would definitely come back just for that.I think my favourite part about Marination Ma Kai is where they are located. Not only is there good food, but the view of the Seattle Skyline across the water is beautiful.
