After taking the Skyrail in Kuranda, it's the perfect time to relax with a vegetarian option, a cup of coffee, and a slice of cake. The staff here are incredibly friendly and happy to help with any questions. The prices are fantastic and the coffee is excellent. What more could you ask for?
When we arrived at the caffe on Sunday morning to have a coffee and a snack before we went on the skyrail, the only worker stood on a table that spoke to friends while all the others were empty, but were not cleaned by previous customers....We had to wait minutes until they ended their chat and then they went behind the switches to take our desks instead of the ones. we stayed until after the other tables had been deleted after the change with our order. there was a very limited selection of food and the carrot cake we chose with our coffee was both tasteless and soggy. we're binding it. the slow attention to hygiene was not acceptable in this Covid era. we are pleased that the skyrail itself was a brilliant experience to save the day.
Bought a plain, very large scone which had a TINY portion of “dolop” cream. They are not fresh every day and mine was rock hard, once it started to cool. I guess it was microwaved too long. DREADFUL AND EXPENSIVE.
The coffee was very good, the pie's nice and hot and tasty and the atmosphere was good. Service was friendly and quick and prices were reasonable.
