Excellent service with delicious food! if you find yourself close to the woodlands and wish a good Cajun food, don't look further. I went with the fried shrimp mail? young and it didn't disappoint! the Po?boy was delicious and the garnels to broth / vegetable ratio was spot on. I also asked about a side of fries that were just the right amount crispy, golden and fluffy. we'll be over to lunch again soon!
Was disappointed by the service. it wasn't busy. the waiters stood to chat. had to get up to fill my drink again. my ettoufee was more dead than roux. my friend had the black cat and it was delicious. the displayed brotpudding was not close to the actual product. I asked for a refund for the brotpudding and was told that only one manager could refund. there was no manager. had to wait about 15 minutes.
First time to eat here and they didn't disappoint! we have pony and a smoked chicken sandwich with a side of fries and chicken-sausage gumbo. great service and had nice eating experience.
$20 for my meal. ordered a 3 piece boudin balls, shrimp po?boy, and a red beans and rice. boudin balls on point, hot, about the size of regular sized marshmallow. shrimp sandwich was good. didn?t expect deep fried shrimp but that?s common. red beans and rice were hot and good but just didn?t hit right with my tongue. probably just me. employees were very friendly and polite. that was the best part! wanted to give 4.5 stars. will eat here again.
