The Rossmount stands out for its outstanding food and service. Their expertise in both quality and presentation is remarkable. We make it a point to eat here every time we visit St. Andrews, and we are consistently impressed by the dishes that come from the kitchen.

To start, we had an amuse-bouche which was a fantastic way to kick off the meal. Next, we tried the oyster shooters—fresh oysters with clamato juice. I'm usually not a fan of oyster shooters, but these were delicious! We also had a shrimp terrine, which was my first seafood terrine. It had amazing flavors. The scallop risotto was beautifully presented, and the striploin steak was a treat, as this cut isn't something we typically find in California. If we ever find ourselves back in the area, you can be sure we'll return!

The ambiance is unpretentious, but the food is outstanding. It's fresh, locally sourced, and creatively prepared. Locals suggested this restaurant, and it certainly lived up to their recommendations.

We heard that this place is a must-visit when you're in the area, and it's easy to understand why! The decor is lovely, the service is attentive, and the food is fresh, local, and packed with flavor. We stayed at the Algonquin Inn, which offered a complimentary shuttle service to the restaurant.
