Jin - St Kilda

This restaurant has been in business for over 15 years and offers a diverse selection of fresh sushi rolls, as well as onigiri and other Japanese snack foods.

I have been dining at Sushi-Jin every two weeks for the last 3 or 4 years. Despite being underrated and located a bit out of the way in the CBD, I don't mind because the food is worth it.

Sushi Jin is just okay overall: located in a typical shopping center, the sushi quality is average and the ambience is lacking.

Had a good night here. Food was lovely. Couldn't manage it all but staff made up containers to take back with us. Liked the decor. A great find just off the Acland road and worth finding.

I have eaten a number of times at Tien Tien on BARCLAY St, they have another restaurant on Fitzroy St. A very large menu to select from and they will adapt dishes to suit you. Fish dishes are really good and portions are very generous. Staff are very nice but make sure they are absolutely clear as to what you want as they sometimes misunderstand. Wine selection is basic. But if you are looking for good value quality asian food in St kilda where you are likely to get a seat this is an excellent choice.
