The lunch and dinner box combos offer great value, especially for takeout. The tempura and sushi are prepared with a light touch and are delicious. The food is always fresh, and the service is friendly. This restaurant is an excellent choice for the neighborhood.
I have dined at this restaurant twice since I live nearby. On both occasions, I have been impressed with the quality of the food and service. I plan to return again as I believe it is the best restaurant in this area.
A bit pricey but thus far this is one of the best sushi places in Fraser Heights. Sashimi is fresh and has shiso leaves (not red though). Lunch box has a good portion of sushi though it does take some time. Chirashi Don is 16$ but is huge and has a fair amount of variety (ingredients may vary). The Katsu Don doesn't really stand out it's a thin cutlet (the type more common with Korean run restaurants) with too much bean sprouts and not enough egg. It's not bad just not what had in mind. Their special rolls are quite saucy but quite good. I highly recommend the Lion Dance roll. The moonlight sushi is also really good it's an oshi sushi topped with avacado and salmon with blue cheese sauce<br/ <br/ The Udon is one of the best I've had in a long time. It's changed a bit since it first opened and there was a point when it wasn't as good. Now the bowl is larger and the soup is more rich with onion and dried shrimp. The Chicken Udon is especially worth it as it is topped with the teriyaki type chicken (just without the sauce). The seafood one has a good variety of seafood but they're mostly small pieces and the mini mussels can be a bit powdery.
Mete my son here where we have a lunchbox excellent sushi, fast service and cheap for the lunch menu.
