However, since there were only two of us, they were able to accommodate us. I did not order the cod, but instead chose the fish cakes from the specials board and they were delicious. My wife ordered a burger which she also enjoyed. The table service was much appreciated as it made things simpler. We will definitely be coming back to this restaurant.
Food was great. I had the roast chicken breast and my partner had the leek and brie lasagne. Staff were great. Will definitely visit again.
Very friendly country pub. eating was amazing. we had the famous bakers arms fishing and chips. they get a large piece of fish many chips and a selection of boiled, garden basses or salat. it lives up to its name as the best fish and chips. the barkers arms is also dog-friendly.
Sunday was amazing. many wonderful bark meat, beautiful bratkartoffeln and sweet. dessert from crumbs and pumpkin was a good dish and tasty. I was living as far away as I would definitely go there regularly. the lady was so friendly and nothing was too much annoyed. many thanks for a wonderful end to an abbey waking away. x
Enjoyed a nice lunch fish cake really comfort eating and my man had the fish and chips like a wal on a teller no rest for the dog, I fear! warm reception of louise and steph and a welcome log fire. a good, clean, well managed pub.
