What a shame the owners can't spend a few euros on an extra waitress. The one poor girl was literally running trying to cope on her own. For us (and presumably others) a ruined meal because the service was so appallingly slow and the atmosphere was just so horribly stressed. Over 15 minutes before we were even offered a drink, then an apparent hurry to take our food order. Not a nice relaxing evening. The menu itself lacks any detail or description, with annoyingly only 3 words for each dish. Given that most guests here are foreign, and given that the poor waitress has limited language skills, you really have no idea what you're ordering. Likewise with the wine list the wines are all local and therefore unknown (to most guests), but no description and zero information or guidance from the stressed waitress. However no complaints about the quality of the food itself, which was very good indeed. But the menu is very restricted with a choice of only 3 starters, 3 mains, and astonishingly only ONE dessert, which is ridiculous considering these can often be prepared in advance. All in all a very good kitchen, let down by inadequate staff and a stupidly unhelpful menu. Such a shame when there are so few quality restaurants to choose from in the area and this place should sine.
If you want an extraordinary experience, don’t hesitate. Original combinations, top quality of the ingredients. A chef who’s knowledge of the ingredients is extremely good. Don’t go anywhere else if you are in the neighbourhood of tazacorte! Thank you for a wonderful evening, we certainly enjoyed it. Dominique and Dave delbosco.
