The staff were rude and very unwelcoming when I came here for lunch. I wouldn't recommend coming here. They looked at me and others like we were rubbish on the floor.
The competence of the employees in sending the cake I ordered for my sons birthday is absolutely unacceptable. Firstly they gave the incorrect cake to the driver in which when the driver arrived if I had not checked inside the bag and checked if the cake was mine I would have had someone else's cake. Furthermore in the cake the sheet specifying a different address and name was inside so this mistake is absolutely unacceptable and the workers are not checking the delivery addresses or cakes. Lastly I rang the company straight away and was told on the phone the cake would be delivered by 4pm. However at 4pm when I phoned again I was told it had JUST BEEN GIVEN TO THE DELIVERY DRIVER. THIS IS NOT FAIR! THIS IS NOT PROFESSIONAL! THIS IS NOT GOOD SERVICE AND THIS IS NOT HOW YOU KEEP CUSTOMERS TO ORDER GOODS FOR SPECIAL ANNUAL CELEBRATIONS! DISAPPOINTING!
Rude staff, with eye-rolling attitude, croque monsieur bland/dry and cold. Ps. Hot chocolate out of stock. Do not recommend this branch of Paul at all.
Rude staff who charged me for an item I didn’t order and refused to process a refund due to “technical issues”. They then tried to convince me to pay again because they claimed customer service would not be able to process a refund for one item. Customer service are unhelpful and took days to respond and provide a partial refund despite it being the company’s fault the issue arose. Overall unpleasant experience, better to visit one of the other cafes in Canary Wharf.
