Contribuer aux commentairesThe food was good. it's all you can eat. the menu is not clear what an order is. in the grunde each ordered thing was a qty of 1 . out of roll, which were 6 pieces.) so our first round of order, we received less than we had expected. but to our own fault, we would have asked the server and adjusted the first order immediately, but we did not. we would definitely come back here.
Wasn't even here. I'm here at 19:45. at 8. it did not seem very busy as the back half of the restaurant was half empty. had to scan a QR code to order, but the internet is schoddy, so if we ordered (two) both order never went through; it took them to notice 15-20 minutes and finally had to order again. it seemed as if they had short employees, as there were 4 waiters, who serve all the sections and no real organization. there was a big group (they looked like regular) they looked like they had received priority service. fish was still fresh and eating was great, but the service has taken a dive.
Haven't been to Yang's since before the pandemic so decided to come and give it a try again and was extremely disappointed. Food was OK, but the wait was horrendous. The mobile phone ordering system is extremely annoying and not a good system or experience when trying to order food. The food took a very long time even though there were maybe 1 or 2 other tables in the restaurant. The first order came relatively quick, but every order after that took forever 50 minutes from ordering to arrive and I could check with the e-mail confirmation from the mobile ordering system. At one point while waiting for our order, both the sushi chefs weren't doing anything, one was taking out the garbage and the other was somewhere else. Won't be returning again...
Went for AYCE lunch. Menu options are large, ordering must be done over the phone but was easy and quick. The only downside of the phone ordering is you do not get any pictures if you wanted to try new items. Food was very tasty. Would return.
Extremely PUNGENT FISHY smelling to the point where it triggers my gag reflex to smell it. I have never smelled such pungent fishy smelling sushi. This fish is definitely very bad quality and past the best before date to eat as sashimi.Even when I purchase salmon to cook from a supermarket it never smells this fishy and pungent! Fresh fish is not supposed to have a fishy smell. This was a takeout order. Immediately after ordering and arriving at home (15 minutes), we opened the bag of food and a strong unpleasant fishy aroma was present. The containers were visibly fully covered in oily finger prints (assuming this is from touching the fish, because they smelled bad). Even the overly vinegary rice is pungently fishy. I assume the rice was overly vinegary to counter the fishiness, but it couldn't cover the pungent smell or taste.Reluctantly I did try a piece of sashimi and had to spit it out as soon as I bit into it and chewed because it's even more intense and disgustingly fishy and pungent in taste to the point where your body starts to activate it's gag reflex and I don't even have one!I am so surprised because the reviews are good so we decided to try this place for the first time. I don't know if this is an exception but you will definitely get severe food poisoning eating raw fish with such a horrible pungent stench. This was a waste of money and time because we could not eat this food at all.If you're thinking of trying this place for sushi, I do NOT recommend it.
