Staff are friendly and engaging and always happy to explain what's on offer, how things work, etc. When seats were limited, staff were patient, kind,...and professional when it got busy, and always seemed to take safety protocols seriously, which is a HUGELY comforting thing these days. Plus, heated, covered, sheltered patios were a major lifesaver this past autumn and winter allowed us to get out of the house for a change of scenery. Special thanks to Kalio and Neil and (we think) Hilary for always making us feel so well taken care of!
Stopped into Faculty as part of birthday Brewery Creek District walking party. Delicious ginger saison! Plan time to enjoy! Cheers
Although they have Brewing down there is a long ways to go for anything distinctive. This is a new small craft brewery and hopefully will grow before graduation. If not I believe they will not be able to survive. Wish them luck. Their small...selection of brews were clean and crisp.
Faculty is a fun, on-trend room with communal seating and a festive atmosphere. Go if you like tasting beer, people watching and light snacks. Very light snacks. It's more about the beer than the pretzel or charcuterie. In the summer months, once a week you...can get your bike tuned up outside, while you sip your brew inside. It's a boisterous, cheerful, playful little place. Go and see for yourself!
We're lucky to live in a brewery hotspot near Main, but this place is my favourite acres comes a close The beer is great. The overall selection is huge, but they rotate the taps frequently, so usually beers are on offer at...a time. You can get flights of beers which is perfect if you can't choose. Theres some pub snacks (cheese, sausages, nachos etc) but on the weekends they often have a food truck outside. The atmosphere and staff are great, it's always a buzzing place to go, but it is popular and seating limited, so if it's a Friday/Saturday night or a sunny weekend, you're likely to queue but turnover is fast. (I would love to see the tap room expand, and maybe even outdoor seating if they do I've found their beer on sale in one or two other places, but it tastes much better fresh from the tap room. They also do growler refils. I would definitely recommend this place, I would even suggest a brewery pub crawl to all the places nearby.
