Grounds For Coffee - Vancouver

One of my favorite coffee shops in East Van. They serve excellent lattes with a variety of milk and alternative options, and their cinnamon buns are absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is enjoyable, and I really appreciate the beautiful artwork displayed by local artists. The café is clean, though it tends to be quite busy most of the time.

This coffee shop is quite popular on Saturday afternoons, with around 20 tables, nearly all of which were occupied. Many customers were busy working on their laptops, and there were plenty of outlets available for charging electronic devices. The iced latte, however, had too much milk and not enough coffee for my taste. On the other hand, the cinnamon roll topped with frosting was delightful—large, warm, and quite sweet. Overall, it's a great neighborhood coffee shop, though street parking is the only option available.

Here are the things we love: - Coffee (of course!) - Matcha latte (definitely try it with oat milk!) - Chai latte (it has a nice, spicy flavor) - Fruit muffins loaded with chunky pieces of fruit - Lemon muffins (vegan) - Breakfast wraps - And how could I forget the cinnamon buns? They are the café's specialty! There's also a loyalty program that you can join to earn points, and you can conveniently place your order directly through the app for pickup. Vegetarian options: There are several vegan and vegetarian dishes available. Dietary restrictions: Non-dairy milk options are offered for an additional charge.

Went into the store after seeing the board which said “best cinnamon buns in the world” and we felt they were correct! Ordered for a mocha and a cinnamon bun and both of them were great. Seating inside is difficult to find and I think that speaks something about the store.Got a summer special strawberry topped cinnamon bun.

Barista made our drink wrong and served drinks as if she were miserable (no eye contact, no thank you, just slammed the drink down). Cinnamon bun was decent, just get them to warm it up for you in the microwave and it’ll taste better. Drinks were wayyyy too overpriced for what you get. There are definitely better options in the area. Good patio and seating tho
