The restaurant is very lively with plenty of people dining in- and outside. Usually, it's fully booked, and you will likely have to wait without a reservation. Knowing this, we had a table reserved. The staff, however, nonetheless seem overwhelmed by the number of guests, are stressed and don't appear to have a positive working climate. When dining here, you must know, that having a quiet conversation, can be tricky as the noise level is high. The ambience is nice and has a familiar vibe. When sitting outside, the view is excellent. The food is ok, yet the recent rise in tourism has led the restaurant to push up prices to an unreasonable extent. We had a good tasting cataplana, yet nothing out of the ordinary, priced at EUR 95 vs. EUR 50 the year before. That's a 90% increase in price.

I had dinner there tonight and was happy I did on my last night in Sagres. The restaurant is perched above the ocean so you have a nice view and there is outdoor as well as indoor seating. I had fish for both my appetizer and main (seared tuna appetizer and stone bass stew as main) and both were as fresh and tasteful as you could want. And the prices were shockingly inexpensive. Moreover, the staff could not have been friendlier and more efficient.

Met a guy who lives in Sagres and he recommended this place. We had fantastic fish. The waiter was friendly and helpful with the menu. Overall, a lovely restaurant.
